We also think it's important that we show our stance against any kind of conversion therapy. We recognise that historically therapeutic services have a troubled history with gender and sexual diversity. We want our clients to be aware of our stance against such practices. Many of the main therapeutic bodies have signed against conversion therapy, which you can read more about here.

All of our staff (from therapists, clinical lead to office manager) have been trained by Luke (one of our therapists) on working with LGBTQ+ young people therapeutically. Luke's PhD research is on gender diversity and has also done research on sexuality - both focusing on young people. This means that your therapist has an understanding of LGBTQ+ identities, language and an affirmative approach.
