My Story
Charlie studied at Birkbeck College, and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of East London. Before training as a therapist, she worked for over 20 years in the video games industry in senior management. She is a Registered Member of the BACP and working towards her further accreditation with them. She is also a member of the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN).
During her training she worked as a therapist for the National Autistic Society supporting parents whose children had received an ASD diagnosis and has worked in private practice with adults for over 5 years.
Charlie works in an integrative and collaborative way with her adult clients making sure that therapy is tailored and suited to the client's unique experiences and ways of thinking. She believes in making a strong connection between client and therapist and uses this to guide clients towards a better understanding of their thoughts and feelings.
