Little Troopers Therapy Programme
Broad Horizons is proud to deliver the Little Troopers Therapy Programme (LTTP), a multi-year initiative commissioned by the charity Little Troopers and funded by the National Lottery.
The programme offers specialist support to children and young people from Armed Forces families, helping them navigate the unique challenges of military life, including:

Parental deployment & separation

Frequent moves and school transitions

Disrupted routines and periods of uncertainty
How the Programme Helps
Using play, creativity, emotional learning, and connection-focused approaches, the LTTP supports children to:

Understand and express emotions

Build resilience and coping strategies

Navigate change and transitions

Strengthen relationships and connections

Types of Support

One-to-one therapy – six sessions comprising of three core and three personalised

Group sessions – three themed sessions for groups of 8–10 children
Referrals: All referrals for the Little Troopers Therapy Programme are managed by the charity Little Troopers.

Who Delivers the Therapy
All sessions are delivered by qualified therapists via Broad Horizons, trained specifically to deliver the Little Troopers programme. The programme delivered is military specific in nature, covering the unique challenges military children often face.
